Hi, I am Viktoria

I’m a certified holistic nutrition consultant for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and baby nutrition, a pre- and postnatal yoga teacher, and a mom to two little humans and one wonky cat.

Ayra Wellbeing was born from my own journey into motherhood, the kind of journey that changed me in ways I never expected and showed me how much support mothers are missing.

I got pregnant for the first time in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, in a new city, away from family and friends.

I had imagined pregnancy a little differently. I thought I would go to workout classes, meet other moms, build a little village and watch our babies grow up together.

Reality looked very different.

I was isolated and far from my village which made an already life-changing season feel even more scary and lonely.

Still, I liked being pregnant. Apart from the occasional meltdown over unpasteurized yogurt or cold-pressed juice, my pregnancy was smooth. I felt prepared for birth.

We were in our little hospital bubble of bliss.

Then we left the hospital with a tiny human completely dependent on us, and we had no idea what we were doing.

What followed were some of the hardest weeks of my life. The hormones, the emotions, the feeding struggles, the identity shift, the isolation, the depletion, the guilt, the shame, the healing.

I kept wondering: how did no one prepare me for this part of motherhood?

Still, I kept pushing through because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.

The part no one prepared me for.

The moment it clicked.

Later, when I returned to my work in the animation industry, my son was just starting daycare and I was already pregnant with our second baby.

I was struggling.

I felt stretched so thin and consumed by guilt. Like I was failing at work, failing at home, failing my baby and failing the baby I was growing.

Neither fully here nor there.

I remember being so, so tired.

That was when it really hit me how unrealistic our expectations of women are through pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood.

How little support there is. How little awareness there is. How little understanding there is. How much mothers are expected to know, carry and figure out on their own.

We are carrying and caring for new life, but who is carrying us?

Who is holding mothers through one of the most demanding and transformative seasons of their lives?

Where Ayra began.

I did not have a perfect plan at the time. I just knew something had to change.

I started with a prenatal and mom and baby yoga teacher training, which eventually led me to study holistic nutrition for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and baby nutrition.

What I learned shook me.

There was so much information out there. So much we can do to support our body, our nervous system and baby through every stage. Yet so much of it never reaches mothers in a way that feels clear, supportive and actually usable in real life.

I felt excited. I felt angry. I felt grief.

I kept wondering what would have been different if I had known then what I know now.

Ayra Wellbeing was born from that place.

From my own experience, from conversations with other mothers, and from the belief that motherhood was never meant to be done alone.

My hope with Ayra is to bridge the gap between evidence-informed education, traditional wisdom and the inner knowing so many mothers are taught to ignore.

What I believe.

I believe there is no perfect way to do motherhood.

You can have the most beautiful plan in the world, but if that plan does not fit your life, your values, your capacity or your baby, it is not the right plan for you.

Pregnancy and motherhood are deeply personal. They should not be forced into rigid, generic advice that leaves you feeling like you are doing it wrong.

I believe the “right” way is the one that sees all of you.
Your body. Your needs. Your baby. Your values. Your nervous system. Your life. The woman you were before motherhood. The woman you are now. The woman you are becoming.

Motherhood teaches us so much about ourselves. It challenges what we believed, what we expected, what we thought we could carry and be.

It can be beautiful and challenging in the same breath.

To meet that kind of transformation, we need more than information. We need nourishment, steadiness, perspective and support that helps us trust ourselves again.

My approach is deeply individual. I bring together holistic nutrition education, movement, breath and support that meets you where you are, so you can feel more nourished in your body, more grounded in yourself and more confident listening to your own voice.
